I have been milking 5 nannies this year and over the last few days our temps have dropped down into the freezing levels. Milk production has dropped drastically since this cold air has moved in. Has anyone else experienced a drop in milk production when the colder weather sets in or is something else the cause of this. In the morning the production is much better (they are in barn overnight) but the evening is much reduced. Same feed, same water, same everything just less milk!!! lol - maybe they are trying to tell me something. (all kidded 3-4 months ago)
