Hi Deborah, If you get .92 a lb. for your goats that sounds pretty good to me, from rumors around here it is not that good, but then I think the goats bring better prices in the Texas area, just my opinion from what I have read about it so far. Most people around here still think goats eat tin cans. We don't even have any "goat knowledgeable"vets in our area. We are not in a big hurry for cash either, but hoping for the best. We only have 33 at the present time, have sold a few to people interested in brush control or pets. Did sell 2 100% does and 1 100% buck to a guy one county away from us,as he wanted to start a herd.(wish I would have kept the does). We are trying to build up a herd for retirement which is right around the corner for us. We still have cattle but know the day will come that they will be too much for us to handle as I have a back and neck injury from an old accident and sometimes they can be too much for hubby to handle alone. Guess we might have to just try different times of the year to see what works for us. Thanks again. Gloria
