Well I want to thank everyone for their in put on the LGD question. We have decided against getting a dog because our neighbors brought home a Briard several days ago. The owners of this dog used her to herd and stay with sheep(I thought they were herding only dogs). They were elderly and got rid of the sheep and gave them the dog. Now we have her barking all night, I think another dog will make this worse. I am also afraid to bring in a older dog with the horse(heard a bad experience from a horse owner), we are planning on getting one more next yr and some more goats,ducks and chickens. I really wanted a dog :( I really thought this would work, now I am going to look at a llama(second choice). Mean while the coyotes are getting braver in this cooler weather. Thanks Again
