Hi Sandy....I've heard of people breeding goats much older than your girls are, so I wouldn't think that there would be a problem. If they had never been bred before, it would be a concern, but you said that both have kidded. I was told that if you wait too long to breed a doe, that the pelvis becomes too fused, making delivery difficult. I might be concerned with the weight issue. You might want to put them on an exerise program and diet to help them to loose some of their fat. I have heard that overweight does have more troubles with pregnancy, one of them being "milk fever". Good luck, and let us know how things go. It's such an exciting time.
