Corid and Albon are both used for coccidiosis, not worms. I switched from Corid to Albon and have had good luck with it. Another name for Albon is Sulfadimethoxine. It is used for goats, most meds if you look at them do not say to use for goats, you have to find this out through the goat chain of information.
The dose for Albon that I use is for the first day 2cc per 25 pounds, then for the next 5-6 days 1cc per 25 pounds.
It is given orally even though the Albon both says to be given IV to cattle. I give this to my goats at one month of age, then monthly until they are 6 months old. This is something new for me. I used to only use it if I suspected cocci in the goats. Dalice
