He should be shedding this time of year. My two bucks have about a handfull of long hair in their feeders they have rubbed off, to clean out before they eat. But it is not off in patches on them, and their skin is not dry. You may want to look really close at the skin for creepy crawlies like lice or mites. You may want to just go ahead and treat for them with an injection of Ivermectin 1%, at 1cc per 110 pounds. You may want to worm him again. You may want to increase the fat in his diet with Black Oil Sunflowerseeds, just a cup a day will do wonders for his skin. Cooper is also important to big bucks, we put out some loose horse or cattle minerals, I prefer Purina's 12 12. Vicki
