You have already answered your own question. Yes this is coming from the pendulous udder. As she walks, and god forbid she run:) her udder bangs against her legs, empty it can actually be stepped on. Other than keeping her as empty as you can, not alot you can do about this, perhaps making her a bra of some kind out of pantyhose? Caprinesupply.com has an udder support that you could mimic.
When breeding time comes think carefully about who you breed her to, opting for a buck who's mother has a very nice udder snuggly attached to her body. With even just an improvement of 50%, about all you can ask for from a buck, you still may end up with a kid who's udder is pendulous as an older doe. Vicki
