When I went in to milk this morning, my doe was passing a quarter-sized piece of afterbirth! I guess the retained piece was so small that she didn't get sick like they usually do. One shot of lutalyse and some pennicillin later she's a bit perkier and eating better. On the down side, I'll be dumping 12 lbs. of very nice milk a day until the pennicillin treatment is done and cleared. Such is life. Thanks for your help!
