With our dealings with CL the knot forms over weeks not months. A Cl knot starts forming and in 2 months time it has been gone. If it is lanced it is gone sooner. I had one come down with it in two weeks it was huge and gone in 4 weeks. The vet lanced one and in 3 weeks you could not tell he had one at all. I would suspect 9 months is something else. maybe someone else has other dealings with other knots on the udders. Arn
