I use the hard blue plastic freezer packs. Throw them in the barn in the morning and they will lay on them if they get too hot. Also leave the barn doors open for air flow,plenty of water etc. My girls on;ly pant onthe milking stand. The other thing is that if you use deep bedding the lower layers composting will generate heat. I have not cleaned mine out yet figuring the girls can go out into the shade in the yard if it's too much. Today however it's rainy and low 60's so I hesitate to do anything too drastic!
