Just went through this for our first time.. WE ordered our emasculater from WigginsInc.com but most all of them sell them. Caprine Supply, Houggers ect!.. There very inexpensive....
Since we have been around cattle, horses and such all of our lives - casteration is pretty normal.. I really like the banding method to the alternative. If I were to actually have them casterated I would have my vet do it...
The banding method was much easier than I thought. It was not hard to get them on and babies were back to normal in a few hours...
As I said it was our first time with goats. We did 5 wethers a few weeks ago and all seem to be just fine.
