You can make some money with cashmere's. Selling off breeding stock. I am making alittle money from the cashmere by selling baggies of raw (but clean) fiber at farmer's market. I am hoping that if I learn to spin well enough I can spin it and sell the fiber to knitters.Truthfully they are cheap goats to keep. They do well on just grass (better than on grain they gain weight really easily!)they seem to be very resistant to disease and worms as well. I worm mine on the same schedule as the dairy gilrs but their color stays good.( My milk does tend to get grayish toward the time when it's time to worm again.)
