Lice ?

Has anyone known of anyone getting lice from goats? I purchased 4 registered boer goats yesterday and they are covered with so many lice that they are miracles to be alive. I have poored on the lice treatment to the backs of my whole herd and I was wondering if we could have gotten lice from holding the babies on the way home in the truck?
