On a Funnier Note.......

I was awakened this morning with the pounding on my front door only to find our City Policestanding there. He told me that they had a Goat loose up at the Catholic Church and wondered if it was mine. I looked up on my hill and said no mine are still in the fence. My oldest Daughter Maria went up to the Church to help catch the goat until the dog warden came and she never did but some friends of mine heard all the traffic on their scanner( they are Tow Truck Drivers and listen to everything) and they came up with a pick-up truck and took it home with them until they find the owner. I guess the other officers were really ragging on the one policeman, making goat sounds over the radio and making jokes at him. He knows nothing about goats. he told me that he(the goat) was pretty big and had long horns. when my daughter came back she said it was a nanny and was laughing because Mike thought it was a Buck. They haven't found the owners yet as I just called to see if they had. Maria said whoever owns if doesn't seem to take good care of it because its feet looked bad with one toe longer than the other and such. She said she had a hard time getting a hold of it too because it was soooo scared!!! wish I had a video camera and been up there!!!
