It sounds like her "motherly instincts" came out. She just needs to know you aren't going to be a threat. How to do that i am not exactly sure, but do know that cookies work wonders. i happen to have a doe who recently received her PhD in goat psychology (she at my Psychology today magazine while i was in the barn waiting for a goat to kid 2 months ago, left it in a handy place for her to get to when i checked the other doe)
I'll run this by Jackie and see what she says. She also has a horticulture degree too after she ate all my rose bushes and chef certification too. she ate a cookbook once when she got into the kitchen while we were remodling. See my fence post for some of her stories. I could write a book about her. Jackie is a Alpine with an Attitude!
