change in behaviour
Posted by Susie on April 17, 2001 at 16:45:31:
My dominant doe has been penned up with her baby. While in there, she has been much more approachable than before. Which is why I was surprised when one day out of the blue she was very aggressive. I went in there as usual only to have her stomp around at me, try to bite me, and even rear up on her hind legs to butt me! I got out of there in a hurry. I tried talking quietly to her and stroking her as usual...didn't do a thing. Since then, she is still very, very cranky every day. Any ideas? How do I regain control here? (oh yea, that's right...the goats always have control, don't they?)
