small puncture wound in udder--leaking milk
Posted by Kathie on April 14, 2001 at 15:12:55:
Had a heavily uddered Lamancha doe leap a 6 foot fence. I don't know if it's from the top strand of barb wire or the heavy blackberry vines on the neighbours property, but she has a puncture wound that is leaking milk pretty heavy. I put anti-bacterial cream on it, and tried bandaids covered with duct tape. It came off immediately. In desperation, we used Super glue (Krazy glue). What now? Should we keep re-applying the glue and hope for the best? Thank you. Kathie
