At tag in at a fair north of us, we (dairy goat folks with way to much time on our hands :) weigh taped the wethers mostly boer dairy cross kids and a few boer angora crosses, as they got off of the scales, we were always less than 5 pounds off the scale weight, though the weigh tape weighted light not heavy nearly all the time. These wethers weighted from 50 pounds up to 125 pounds and the smaller ones were much more accurate at weigh tape than the older larger ones, they usually always weighted the 3 to 5 pounds more than the weight tape said.
