Yes for us it is, most of our does (Nubains) will have their kids in December, when its cooler, hay is fresher, remeber your July cut hay is sitting in humid barns, whats the nutritinal count of it in March or April? The worm and cocci burdens are lower. Now if you are in blizzard, ice etc. No, wait and breed so the kids can be born in the spring with the new grass to eat. What class of livestock do you have? Vicki
