This is an acceptable weight for dairy breeds, 2 months 20 pounds plus their birth weight, 3 months 30 pounds plus their birth weight etc. When you said you switched over to Calf Manna, you didn't mean you weaned them yet did you. We don't wean our kids till 12 weeks, they simply at 8 weeks aren't consuming enough calories from their grain or hay yet. We feed a lamb starter, we try to find one with a 17% protein without animal products, we also put our loose cattle minerals (Purina's blue bag) because it contains the added copper that they need. It's a little pricey but the new Purina Goat Chow now that it has been reformulated not to contain animal products for the protein (not the pellet feed) it is the grain product, it is great for growing out kids, make sure and make any changes slowly, and by the way the animal product in Calf Manna or Purina's Animax is whey, one of the only suitable animal products for goats.
