Hello,

I have had my goats since March 1999. I have an Alpine and an Alpine/Oberhasli mix. The Alpine I bought freshened (2nd) last year and learned alot with her. The Obie was still young so bred this winter. Both are close to popping stage, doing well.... I just keep watching! :) The Obie had to stay at the breeders for a month so we were sure she would "take" - the first time in December, she must have re-absorbed the tiny fetus because she was in heat again about 30-32 days later. Anyhow, at most she is at 146 days today and I am so excited to see babies soon. Just thankful I found this forum and could read and chat about one of my favorite subjects! Thanks again!

Kristi
