I noticed two days agao that the yearling Oberhasli we just purchased has yellow discharge on her tail. She had had a cloudy/white discharge when we got her so I had been watching it. I took her into the vet yesterday he infused the uterus with antibiotics and she is now on Amoxicillan injections.
The milking right after going to the vets was fine but the two since then have been less than usual.2.5 lbs instead of 4. Is this usual when there are changes, medications etc.? or should I be looking at something else?(P.S. we have also had a big temperature change from warm to cold,75 down to 45.
