We asked our vet for BO-SE, he said he didn't have it and instead gave us MU-SE, we purchased a bottle and gave it to our kids who showed signs of selinium deficiency. Before I purchased it I expalined what I needed it for and why. I was very through in this as I didn't want to give anything that would harm my kids or my goatie girls or bad boys. I have used it a few times on kids who needed it.
I guess at this point I would suggest asking your vet in more specific details about using MU-SE since the concern was raised, however, I can say this, my kids had no ill effects and improved. They are doing fine now, both from this yr and last yr.
