I lock up the hens for the weekend, and like Kay use Diazanon. I don't put this "IN" the infant or baby pens, as they would probably eat it! They are so mouthy at this age, but I have never had any trouble using it in with the goats in the bedding or raked into the dirt. I mostly throw it under the feeders. We have a good relationship with our fireants, I posion the yard, barn and anywhere I walk, they can live in the woods, most of the time this works out pretty well. Vicki
