I agree, auctions are where we get rid of the ones that we don't want. My best stock is on my farm. I rarely purchase an animal at auction without knowing the owner (personally) and the animals background and why that animal is being auctioned. As far as little groups they exist in every market. We ask ourselves what is a goat worth? Not always is it the market that drives up the price it's the people who just have to have that animal. For whatever reason, meat or pet it just doesn't matter. Maybe we should get back to what it takes to keep our farms healthy. I use this forum to help me with all problems I encounter. Not as a tool to bash others.
