Wormers

Can someone please tell me how often I should be worming my goats? I have Alpines and I live in Northern Maryland. I have been reading other posts and I know that is depends on the climate and the susceptible rainfall. We get our fair share of rain, on and off, throughout the year. Standard hot summers, cold winters. I am using Valbazen once every six months per the directions, but there isn't any additional information. I understand over use of a wormer is ineffective. Any suggestions?
