This is the perfect time of year for bottle jay though I would really worry if you had it in an adult, imagine the load in the kids! Also, a gal friends kids were bit by a copperhead, which we knew would either kill or do nothing to the kids, we treated them with Benedryl and were trying to clean their wounds, which we couldn't even find most of them. So it could easily be snake, wasp or bee stings. I would watch her carefully and take special care in handeling her, Blue Tongue also has a swoolen face. Also sinus infections, in which the bone in the nose actually tips, leaving the doe with a disfigured face. Vicki McGaugh
