We have done our kids just like we do puppies. There is a natural urge to follow anyone who feeds them. Put the lead and collars on and use a handful of hay or a bottle to coax them forward. I use commnads (don't know if the really work) like 'with me'.Our 5 year old Alpine (who came to us at age 5) now knows 'up' for getting on the milking stand and 'kennel' for getting back in her stall(habit)My daughter has the month old Nubian 'heeling off lead' already!LOL
Nat is so right handle them alot when they are young.
