teaching kids to lead???

I was wondering how the best way to teach a 2 1/2 month old kid to lead. I am going to be getting my daughters whethers for fair and want to start them to lead as soon as possible. It is still kinda cold here at nights and we will need to move them from the pen to the small building we have and there isn't any fence to take them back and forth. We will have three for now and then one more when it is weaned (about 2 months). All help will be appreciated.
