Well... Vuickie covered it in a nutshell! i just wanted to mention that yes, its a case of misinformation, but if you breed that doe to a buck with polled in its lines you can run the risk of getting a hermodiphide. i have a polled alpine now and she is just lovely, she is an excellent milker and has some good lines, however, her teats run east coast/west coast and you can fly a jet between! However, she is ahlaf sister to my doe carina who produces some lovely kids with milk and show quality. i have to be careful with the line as it does pop up in there, the polled.
