New "mom" waiting on first kids

I am new to this, luckily, the doe is not! I am watching her closely and can not wait for new babies! The barn is bedded, the supplies are gathered and she is calmly chewing her cud and not sharing her plans with me!
I do have a question for all you "old timers" out there. I bought this doe already bred. I know that the kid's names have to start with the previous owner's herd name but whose tattoo goes in the ear? Their's or mine?
