I have several (10) nannies that are kidding at the same time and several brand new first time nannies. I have one that in my opinion is not producing enough milk for her one kid. I have two other older nannies that could feed quads if they had to, so I milked off both of these (one nipple of each one was so engorged that it was almost dragging the ground) and now have a 20 oz. coke bottle with fresh goat milk in it. How long can I keep it and under what conditions? And then if I refrigerate it, how long do I warm it up for?
I did get the one kid to take about 1-1/2 ounces. I don't know if he is sucking hard enough, or enough to stimulate more milk production. Any suggestions to increase milk supply besides trying to milk her? :(
