Hello to everyone and let me take a min. to say that I am extremely grateful for this forum and the people that give their time to help out us newer folks.Now,having said that, we have a 2 yr.old nubian that is kidding for her 1st time-I think she is at 155 days as of today, but she kept jumping in and out of the breeding pen,and I never actually saw her breed so I could be wrong-and my husband says it's possible that she didn't take the 1st time and I should add another 21 days to her date-and her udder has filled up only on one side. It is nice and firm, but not hard. We,ve had our goats for 3 yrs now and I've never seen this. Can they get mastitis before they even kid?
