I am so sorry Hercules is so ill. Chronic wasteing disease is goats starts at about 5 or 6. It is usually from CL abscess in and around internal organs or Johnes. If your vet has already fecaled him for worms and cocci, and he has no other symptoms except weight loss I would suspect Johnes. Goats unlike cows rarely have the diarrhea that is associated with Johnes. You can have a test ran on his poop to determine if you are dealing with Johnes, remember that he is pooping this into your invioronment. There is a classic photo of a buck with Johnes, in Goat Medicine, perhaps your vet will be able to help you. If you do get a diagnosis of Johnes, you will need to humanly put him down. Vicki
