Hi,
sometime last summer i posted some recipies to the Goat Shed on msn communities. maybe Vickie, our fearless leader there can better help you locate them as she seems to have an understanding with the message board. sometiems it won't cooperate for me and open, etc. Oh well......:(
Here is one of my favorite recipies for goat milk fudge, Its from mary jane Toth's book, Goats produce Too. Hope this helps.
Bernice
Chocolate fudge
3 c sugar 1 tsp vanilla
1 and 1/2 cup goat milk 2/3 c baking cocoa
1/2 c butter or margarine 1 c walnuts (optional)
Place sugar and cocoa powder in a large pan. Mix well and add goat milk and butter. Bring to a boil and boil gently until mixture reaches soft ball stage, 245 degrees on candy therm. remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts. beat by hand til thick. pour into a greased 8x8 pan. Cool and cut into squares. I prefer ths to the ADGA site recipie, not as sweet.
