Heck no! You did exactly as you should. I would have pressed the head back in and gone for both front feet. Actually as I see a doe start pushing I enter to put the kids in the right placement, before they get all jammed up! A doe passing a big twin with both legs back is very prone to ripping her cervix. Older does who are having multiple births can push kids out, especially the 3rd or 4th kid, out in strange positions. I am not a fan of letting nature take its course. We are not talking wild ferral goats here. We all have our goats in the most unnatural of circumstances, grained, hayed, living in barns where parasties abound, bred to produce mulitple animals with udders that hold enough milk for 3 or 4 kids even if they only have 2. Bloodlines that have 12 pound bucklings as a norm. What is so Letting nature take its course about that ? Vicki
