Gary-On the 'Mad Cow sheep" .I have been reading everything about them since they are being sent to Iowa State which is near us. From what I understand these are Fresian sheep which is a dairy breed,none of the meat(from the original herd) will be sold,and tests done on the sheep are "inconclusive" the USDA's statement. Personally I think the USDA has overstepped here and is creating panic where there should be none.
If hoof and mouth is spread so easily how was it ever wiped-out in the first place?
