Well I'm not sure if this will work on goats but it does on humans, coloidial silver. It's a natural antibiotic, sort of, how it works is after its been introduced to the system, it attaches itself to the virus or bacteria that is invading the body and cuts off any oxygen from getting to it, effectively smothering it to death. It can also be taken in addition to manufactured antibiotics. You can pick some up at your local health mart and it tastes just like mineral water.
You may want to do some research to see how it would work with goats before trying it though. I would be interested in finding out how well it works if you do try.
