we ha a little buck, not quite a year ago that became blind from some kind of encephalitis, the necropsie showed hepatolipodosis, but no etiology. At times it was thought he had polio or listeriosis, but the blindness was kind of off and on. When he was at his stronger times, he seemed to be able to see, but when he became weak, the vision also went. Good Luck!!
