1 ounce is not enough. Get the milk warm 102 and tube her if you have to. A kid can not maintain their body temperature if they have no calories to burn. The very big reason why you don't fill the stomach of an 8 pound kid with electrolytes, though it may stop dehydration it has no calories in it for them to maintain temp. Tube the kid with milk for calories and then inject subq fluids. Take his temp and if it is subnormal, a trip to the vet is going to be needed. Vicki
