Hi, this might explain the death of her 2 younger bucks if it is lice (blood sucking). These lice can suck a smaller goat down to nothing and it is fatal if not treated. We had a neighbor who was loosing his kids due to this type of lice. Have they mentioned if they have ever deloused their herd? If not the chances are good that it is lice. And I do think your right Denise they are probably looking at some kind of mineral difficency those goat and sheep blocks are worthless to goats as far as mineral goes and hard on the teeth.
